Our Philosophy
At Sonrise we believe each child is created by God to be unique and special. We know self-esteem and esteem for others are affirmed by understanding how children learn and then guide them accordingly. Self respect and respect for others are taught by respecting the individuality of each child . We believe children and parents are most secure when Christian moral and spiritual values are reinforced in the classroom setting. Children learn to their maximum potential when age appropriate materials and resources are used in guiding their physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and moral/spiritual development.

Mission Statement
Our primary mission is to promote and enhance the educational process of infants to preschool and after school children. We focus on excellence in education; balancing this with a pro active stance in developing and nurturing children's social experiences.
Sonrise Academy is a non denominational school which promotes a foundation that is built on God's Word and His Commandments. We strive to give daily affirmation of Christian values throughout both our educational and social interactions with the children.
The owners of Sonrise have over ninety years combined experience in the child care profession. Sonrise Academy is well grounded in the practical aspects of child development and child teaching.
Sonrise Academy children are not just challenged daily but are rewarded for their every effort. We work to set the foundation for a bright future.
